MIDI MATE FW3.04

Firmware update steps:
1. Connect your computer, whether it's a Windows PC or a Mac, using a USB Type-C cable.
2. Once connected, you should see the MIDIMATE drive on your computer. Open the drive and delete all files, except for the "license" directory and its contents.
3. Unzip the downloaded firmware package and copy all files to the empty MIDIMATE drive on your computer.
4. After copying all the files, unplug the USB cable and reconnect it.
5. Wait for about half a minute, and the firmware will enter the working state.
6. You can now use the updated device normally.

Work with MIDI CAPTAIN

PaintAudio Wireless MIDI Adapter can connect to MIDI 5pin port and USB interface connectors of standard MIDI devices, such as MIDI controller (MIDI Captain), multi-effects, digital wind instrument, electric piano/keyboard, synthesizer, digital mixer, MIDI keyboard, etc.

Work as USB-MIDI Converter

A single MIDI MATE can be used as a fully functional USB-MIDI converter, allowing easy connection between other MIDI devices and MIDI-supporting music software on a computer. 

The signals coming from the MIDI port and the wireless end can both be mixed into the USB-MIDI stream.

1:N Wireless Control

The Midi Mate should used in pairs such as 1:1 or 1:N (you need buy two or more- and all have IN/OUT functions. In 1:N case, use one for sending and N for receiving ),it wirelessly connect your iOS devices (iPhone/iPad/iPod touch) to your instrument by the USB-MIDI in one of the paired devices. Get rid of cables, enjoy freedom on stage.

A pair of MIDI MATE units can be easily understood as two bi-directional MIDI cables, making it extremely convenient and simple to use.

Ultra-low Latency

MIDI MATE adopts a 2.4G private protocol for transmission. Compared to Bluetooth, it is more stable and has lower latency. The control distance is between 10-100meters with ultra-low latency <=5ms. The connection is efficient and automatically no matter in home, studio or stage. You can easily connect it to a computer and modify its settings parameters, including pairing ID and transmission power.
